Creating your first chatbot

Follow these steps to get your chatbot live in under 5 minutes.

Step 1 — Go to Bots

From your dashboard, click Bots in the left sidebar, then click Create Bot.

Step 2 — Name your bot

Give your bot a name (e.g. "Support Bot") and optionally write a persona description. This tells the AI how to behave.

Step 3 — Add knowledge sources

Upload documents, paste website URLs, or type FAQs directly. AURA uses this content to answer visitor questions accurately.

Step 4 — Embed on your website

Go to Inbox → Widget and copy the embed snippet. Paste it before the closing </body> tag of your website.

Step 5 — Test it

Open your website in a new tab and start a conversation with your bot. You should see responses within seconds.

That's it! Your bot is live.
